Okay, we are busy piecing together what this schedule will look like based on band websites and other confirmed dates. Right now almost every act I care about seeing is on Sat. This doesn't bode well for getting to see them all, or balancing days. What I want to know is, what conflicts were heartbreaking in your past O visits and what are your most dreaded conflicts for this year. I'll start...why are Flo, Ben Harper, and/or Weezer - all of whom happen to be on the same day.

Do we know for sure that Flo is on Saturday? I was expecing her to play on Friday (she's confirmed to play Sunday at Lolla).
Regardless, we don't have to worry about the top acts on the Osheaga poster conflicting with each other - they rarely ever do. Even if Flo, Ben and Weezer are all 3 on the same day then they will all play the main stage area back to back. This has long been the Osheaga scheduling formula.
The types of acts we would have to worry about being on the green stage rather than the main stage area and therefore potentially missing would be acts such as Hot Chip, Caribou, Schoolboy Q, Future Islands, etc. The top 3 lines of the poster (save for maybe Kygo) are safe and none of them are likely to play any of the other stages.
Last year the Green Stage acts included names such as Chromeo, Band of Horses (Friday closer), SBTRKT (Saturday closer), Cut Copy, Gogol Bordello, Lykke Li (Sunday closer).
Fairly big names but again, none of them were anywhere near the top of the poster. So no need to worry about large acts at the top of the poster conflicting, it almost never happens. And this is one of the main reasons why I prefer Osh over Lolla, Lolla is conflict city! The top 6 names on the poster are scheduled opposite each other, leaving an attendee the option of only seeing 3 of those top 6 names.

I think we should be pretty good this year - most of the conflicts will be mid line-up, and I'll be seeing some of them at Firefly, so that'll help too. I hope no one I want to see is against 21 pilots, they're such a great show, but I would pick someone I haven't seen over them if I had to.

21 pilots is billed so low they're probably playing something like 2 PM mainstage. Other stages will have some local bands and smaller stuff, I doubt anything big will conflict.

Can you guys make an excel sheet of when you think certain artists will play? I am anxious to see the schedule but not so anxious as to look into each band/group 's schedule haha

On Saturday, I'm thinking that Caribou, St Vincent (as a closer of course)and Future Islands are all potential candidates for late spots on the Green stage rather than on the main stage. Too bad, cause I want to see all 3 of them and prefer not to leave the main stage area unless I absolutely have to.

Weezer is playing in Connecticut on Sunday and Maine on Friday, so Sat. is the only option for Osheaga. Black Keys website says Friday the 31st Florence plays Lolla on Sunday and if TBK headline Friday, that only leaves Sat. for her...leaving Kendrick for Sunday at the O. This is all if we can trust the band webpages.

We can't. TBK is obviously a placeholder, because it's written as Osheaga Festival [07-31 to 08-02] on the website. Good find with Weezer... Everyone feel free to add to the list when you find new ones, I reorganized it by billing order:
Confirmed - Friday, July 31 Chet Faker Action Bronson The Kills (logical) Run the Jewels (probably) Grace Potter Shakey Graves The Franklin Electric
Confirmed - Saturday, Aug 1 Weezer Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals Caribou St. Vincent Milky Chance (logical) Young The Giant Oliver Heldens Hudson Mohawke The Rural Alberta Advantage Desaparecidos Glass Animals
Confirmed - Sunday, Aug 2 Brand New Father John Misty Tove Lo Gary Clark Jr. First Aid Kit Philip Selway
EDIT: added a couple more
