I love that you can bring snacks into Osheaga. We usually grab some sushi and fruit and veg's to bring in with us. Also key - umbrella (for shade or rain!), poncho's, garbage bags, wet wipes, extra TP, roll up stadium seats, small first aid kit and a spritzer fan. A camelbak is key as well!

Does anyone have tips on navigating around Stages Best spots for views, favorite stages, etc? I know Sometimes crowds end up bottle necked on one side and little do they know they opposite side is much less crowded.

at scene verte, the left side is usually slower to fill up do to the fact that people normally walk in the right side first.

I know Sometimes crowds end up bottle necked on one side and little do they know they opposite side is much less crowded. As I recall, you bought Gold passes, so you'll be all set at the Main Stage (River). There is a barricade between the two Main area Stages so when the sets at the River stage are over you can go to the River stage of the barricade which gets you a good view for the 2nd Main stage (Montagne). I agree that the left side of the Verte stage is the better side, plus you can exit better from that side as well. The Picnic (EDM) stage can get very crowded. I don't see very many acts there, but it does have good food. The earlier the better. The Arbor stage and the Valle stage are very small. There was a small grandstand seating area at the Arbor stage last year - but I wouldn't worry about those - it's pretty easy to get close - However, they sometimes royally screw up with how many people they anticipate - I wasn't there but I think Vance Joy on the Arbor stage last year was mobbed (we were headed that way and the amount of people coming back was ridiculous).

My tips for both main stage : always be on the other stage to Watch the show... No one hors there and the view is very cool. Crowd always move stage to stage, do the inverse.
Tree stage is the n'est stage, great bands, smal crowd, real connexion. Best food is at the good truck place, but way too crowd. Go to the Piknic or the pull purk on the Green stage. NEVER BUY food at the main stages. Its too expensive and not very good.

NEVER BUY food at the main stages. Its too expensive and not very good. This so much. There's so many people staying at the main stage... the lines are horribly long and the food is really average. Just cross the small water bridge and there's a clear difference in quality and in lines. Same thing apply to bathroom, the smallest lines and the cleanest bathroom i found are near scene des arbres.

Best bathrooms near the Tree stage like Schrik said. Real toilet and no line.
